Biography

Caroline West is a Term Assistant Professor in the Honors College. Her research is broadly centered in cultural and media studies with special focus in photography and visual culture, theories of race and gender, and political economy. Dr. West has taught courses at GMU in cultural studies, global affairs, and communications. In the Honors College, she teaches special topics courses centered on photography and culture, community and activism, social and economic inequalities, as well as the foundational HNRS 110 course, Principles of Research and Inquiry.
