Fulbright Information Session Events

Every spring, Mason students who are rising seniors, alumni, and graduate students from all disciplines apply for the Fulbright US Student Program. Applicants are interested in teaching English or conducting research overseas for up to one year. Applications to this opportunity are limited to U.S. citizens. 

Application Process

Spring. Attend a Fulbright information session, either in-person or a virtual event or webinar.

Summer. Meet with a Fulbright Program Advisor and begin a Fulbright application by July 1

Fall. The Fulbright campus deadline is September 15 so that endorsed applicants can meet the national deadline in early October

Important Notes for Prospective Applicants

To receive an endorsement from George Mason University, you must submit the entire application by the campus deadline. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Interested applications shoudl carefully and thoroughly review the Fulbright website prior to attending an informational session or contacting the Fulbright Program Advisors with questions.

Current graduate students and graduate alumni: Dr. Kay Agoston, Director, Office of Graduate Fellowships
