Support for Graduate Study in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
Since 1975, the Beinecke Scholarship has supported graduate study in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. This year, George Mason University has been invited to join approximately 135 colleges and universities to nominate a student for a Beinecke Scholarship, and up to 20 new scholarships will be awarded. Each school invited to participate in the Beinecke Scholarship Program is permitted to make a single nomination each year.
Students must complete several steps at the university level during the fall semester to be able to be considered as the nomination for this scholarship on behalf of George Mason University.
Each scholar receives $4,000 immediately prior to entering graduate school and an additional $30,000 while attending graduate school.
